Daniel Youssef, BA
Administrative and Clinical Assistant
About Daniel Youssef, BA
I aspire to one day become a clinical psychologist, and am currently exploring the profession through direct involvement in a mental health practice. As a volunteer under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Melissa Jinariu, I have the opportunity to observe clinical work, gain exposure to a variety of therapeutic treatments, and contribute to the administrative responsibilities of the practice.
Education & Training
I am in the process of applying to PsyD programs. I hold a Bachelor of Science in
Computer Science from California State University, Channel Islands, and an Associate of Arts in Kinesiology. Having worked in a physical therapy clinic, I gained hands-on experience supporting diverse populations. I learned not only to assist patients with their physical rehabilitation, but to do so with empathy and compassion. Coming from a strong faith background, I’ve also had the privilege of working with children and adolescents in my church community, offering faith-focused guidance and integrating spiritual practices into relatable contexts
such as sports. Additionally, I volunteer for the Crisis Text Line, where I received
specialized training to provide mental health support and crisis intervention to
individuals in need.
