About Brooke Angaga, LMFT

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT132068) and have enjoyed working professionally with Dr. Jinariu for almost two decades in a variety of capacities. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and their families that are working through grief, trauma, and loss. I approach treatment from a psychodynamic lens, while utilizing family systems principles and Christian integration.

Education & Training

In 2001 I received my Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University. I subsequently attended Fuller Theological Seminary and received my MS in Marriage and Family Therapy in June of 2006. The majority of my clinical work has been spent working with children and adolescents who are dependents of the court in the foster care system or residential facilities. I have experience in working with trauma, grief, loss and attachment disruptions and have training in the Evidence Based Practices of TF-CBT and EMDR. During the course of my adult life, I spent two years working in Kenya and with multi-ethnic and multi-cultural populations.
