About Anagha Madgulkar, MA
I am currently in my third year of clinical training and have experience providing care across the lifespan, working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have treated a range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, low self-esteem, and substance use disorders. My approach to treatment is grounded in a CBT framework through a trauma-informed and systemic lens. I am passionate about creating a safe, collaborative space for clients and their families to foster connection and enhance their overall psychological well-being.
Education & Training

I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) degree from Azusa Pacific University. I earned my Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University in May 2024. My research and dissertation focus on multiculturalism and examining the barriers to access and utilization of mental healthcare services within the South Asian community. Prior to pursuing my PsyD degree, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from University of California Riverside.
I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Gottman’s Level One Marriage Counseling. I strongly believe in resourcing evidence-based practices to create a tailored treatment plan that effectively addresses each client’s unique needs.
